Biography

Antoni Łazarkiewicz (also credited as Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz) is a Polish film score composer. He was born on 12 March 1980 in Warsaw and trained at the Chopin Secondary Music School in Warsaw, studying clarinet and percussion, before graduating from the Academy of Music in Kraków, where he studied composition under Marek Stachowski.

He has composed scores for numerous films and television series, including In Darkness (2011), Warsaw 44 (2014), Spoor (2017), Mr. Jones (2019), Charlatan (2020) and Quo Vadis, Aida? (2020). He has frequently collaborated with director Agnieszka Holland. Łazarkiewicz is a member of the Polish Film Academy and resides in Berlin, Germany. His awards include the Czech Lion for Best Music for Burning Bush (2013).
