Biography
Antonina Pavlovna Bogdanova was a Soviet actress. She was born on 21 April 1904 in Astrakhan and died on 18 August 1983 in Moscow. She trained at the Baku Conservatory and at courses attached to the Baku Workers' Theatre, and acted at the Baku Theatre before joining the Central Theatre of the Soviet Army in 1932.
She began appearing in films in the mid-1950s and is known for her role as the grandmother in The Cranes Are Flying (1957). Other screen credits include Predsedatel (1964), Pro chudesa chelovecheskiye (1968) and several television films. She received the title of Honoured Artist of the RSFSR in 1954 and People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1962, and was awarded two Orders of the Badge of Honour.
