Biography
Antonio Gambale is an Australian composer based in Paris. He began composing for television commercials at the age of 19 and has worked in film, television and advertising music for over 25 years. He studied classical piano and organ from childhood and is a graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
Gambale is known for his score to the Netflix limited series Unorthodox (2020), for which he received two Primetime Emmy nominations and won two Screen Music Awards. His other composing credits include the feature films Stung (2015, with David Menke) and Joe Cinque’s Consolation (2016). He has also contributed as an arranger, programmer and sound assistant on productions including the Taken films.
