Biography
Anya Banerjee is a Kiwi-American actor. Born in Platteville, Wisconsin, and raised in New Zealand, she completed an MFA in acting at Columbia University. She previously wrote and performed in the play Apologies to the Bengali Lady, which was staged at venues including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Banerjee is known for her role as Siya Malik in the final season of the NBC series The Blacklist (2023). She has since appeared as Dr. Sonya Maitra in the Fox medical drama Doc (2025) and as Nurse Kett in the feature film Song Sung Blue (2025).
