Biography
Aoi Nakajima (中島 葵) was a Japanese actress. She was born on 20 September 1945 in Kumamoto, Japan, and died on 16 May 1991.
She trained at the Nihon University College of Art drama department and the Bungakuza theatre research institute, later becoming a Bungakuza member and appearing in stage productions including works by the Black Tent theatre company. Nakajima made her film debut in 1969 and became active in Nikkatsu Roman Porno and independent pink films from 1973. She is known for her role as Toku, the wife of Kichizō Ishida, in Nagisa Ōshima's In the Realm of the Senses (1976). Other credits include Samurai Reincarnation (1981) and appearances in television dramas. She was the daughter of actor Masayuki Mori.
