Biography
April Bowlby is an American actress. Born on 30 July 1980 in Vallejo, California, she moved with her family to Manteca, California, as a child and attended East Union High School. She studied ballet, French and marine biology at Moorpark College, began a modelling career, and trained in drama with Ivana Chubbuck before turning to acting.
Bowlby secured the role of Kandi on the CBS series Two and a Half Men (2005–2007, with later guest appearances) within months of her first auditions. She is also known for playing Stacy Barrett on the Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva (2009–2014), Rita Farr / Elasti-Girl on Titans (2018) and Doom Patrol (2019–2023), and Meg on How I Met Your Mother (2007–2008). Her film credits include All Roads Lead Home (2008), The Slammin' Salmon (2009) and From Prada to Nada (2011).
