Biography
Archana Jois, also credited as Archie Jois, is an Indian actress who appears primarily in Kannada films. She is known for playing Shanthamma, the mother of the protagonist Rocky, in K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018) and K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022).
Born in Bangalore, she began her career with lead roles in the Kannada television soaps Durga and Mahadevi. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and has also appeared in films including Vijayaratha (2019), the Marathi film Rajkumar (2021), and #Mute (2022).
Jois received the SIIMA Award for Best Supporting Actress (Kannada) for K.G.F: Chapter 1 and the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress for #Mute.
