Biography
Arthur Roberts is an American actor born on 10 August 1938 in New York City. He first performed as Crichton in The Admirable Crichton at the Fieldston School and later studied at Harvard University before pursuing acting full time. He trained with the Harvard Summer Players and appeared in summer stock productions across the East Coast.
His stage work includes a New York run in the original cast of The Boys in the Band, a Broadway role in the Tony-winning Borstal Boy, and the part of Karenin in Anna Karenina. On screen he is known for the role of the Arresting Officer in Up in Smoke (1978), Mr Todd in Chopping Mall (1986), Braden in Revenge of the Ninja (1983) and the title role in Not of This Earth (1988), which gained him membership of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Television credits include appearances in Scrubs, CHiPs, The Rockford Files and a recurring role in General Hospital.
