Biography
Ashraf Barhom is an Israeli actor. Born on 8 January 1979 in Tarshiha in the Galilee, he graduated with a B.A. in Theatre and Arts from the University of Haifa.
He first gained attention for his role as Abu Karem in Paradise Now (2005). Subsequent film credits include Colonel Faris Al Ghazi in The Kingdom (2007), Ammonius in Agora (2009), Ozal in Clash of the Titans (2010), and General Bandari in 300: Rise of an Empire (2014). On television he played Jamal Al Fayeed in the series Tyrant (2014).
Barhom won two best actor awards for his performance in The Curve (2015).
