Biography
Au Kin-yee is a Hong Kong screenwriter. She has worked extensively with directors Johnnie To and Wai Ka-fai, often collaborating with writers Yau Nai-hoi and Yip Tin-shing.
Her credits include PTU (2003), Running on Karma (2003), Throw Down (2004), Mad Detective (2007), Life Without Principle (2011) and Limbo (2021). She has also worked as a script supervisor.
Au Kin-yee has won several awards for her screenplays, including Hong Kong Film Awards for Running on Karma (2003, shared) and Mad Detective (2007, shared), and a Golden Horse Award for best adapted screenplay for Limbo (2021, shared).
