Biography
Audrey Wells (also credited as Audrey Ann Wells) was an American screenwriter, film director and producer. She was born in San Francisco, California, on 25 January 1960 and died on 4 October 2018.
Her screenwriting career began with The Truth About Cats & Dogs (1996). She went on to write George of the Jungle (1997), The Kid (2000), Shall We Dance? (2004), The Game Plan (2007), A Dog's Purpose (2017) and The Hate U Give (2018). Wells also directed and wrote Under the Tuscan Sun (2003). She contributed a script to the anthology series Modern Love (2019).
