Biography
Augusto Bitter is a Venezuelan actor who lives and works between Toronto and Mexico City. He trained at the University of Toronto and the Canadian Film Centre, and attended acting and dance intensives in Switzerland, France, Mexico and the United States.
A Dora Award-winning performer, he has appeared on major Canadian stages. His screen credits include the role of Garcia in the series Billy the Kid (2022–2025), Virgil in the film Star Trek: Section 31 (2025), Wyatt in Hudson & Rex (2019), and parts in Hotel for the Holidays (2022) and the independent films So Much Tenderness (2022) and Chicho (2023). He also works as a writer and producer for stage and screen.
