Biography
Babak Ahmadpour (also credited as Babek Ahmedpoor or Babak Ahmadpour) is an Iranian actor. He is known for his role as Ahmad in Abbas Kiarostami's Where Is the Friend's House? (1987) and for appearing as himself in Through the Olive Trees (1994). He also featured briefly in And Life Goes On (1992).
Ahmadpour was born in the village of Koker in Rudbar County, Iran. With his brother Ahmad Ahmadpour, he was cast as a child with no prior acting experience for the first film in Kiarostami's Koker trilogy. The brothers later appeared in the 2018 documentary Tree of Life.
