Biography
Balthazar Lab is a French cinematographer. A 2015 graduate of La Fémis film school, he began working as a camera assistant, including on Woody Allen’s Magic in the Moonlight (2014).
Lab has served as director of photography on feature films including L’Eden (La Jauría, 2022), Who by Fire (2024), Comme le feu (2024) and September Says (2024). He previously shot the short film Olla (2019) for director Ariane Labed.
