Biography
Bartine Burkett, also credited as Bartine Burkett Zane, was an American actress. She appeared in numerous silent films from the late 1910s, including The High Sign (1921) and Seven Chances (1925).
She worked with performers such as Buster Keaton and appeared in nearly sixty silent films before retiring after her 1928 marriage. In 1973 she returned to acting and took roles in films and television series, among them an appearance in Alice (1976).
Burkett was born in Robeline, Louisiana, and died in Burbank, California.
