Biography
Béatrice Altariba is a French actress. Born Béatrice Florence Andrée Altarriba on 18 June 1939 in Paris, she began her career in revues and musical theatre before making her film debut in 1956. She appeared in French and Italian productions until 1969.
Her notable roles include Cosette in Les Misérables (1958), Paulette Mérodon in Eyes Without a Face (1960), and a saloon woman in Cemetery Without Crosses (1969). She also featured in Totò diabolicus (1962) and Woman in Chains (1968). Altariba is the granddaughter of painter Émile Bernard and great-niece of poet Paul Fort.
