Biography
Bel Powley is an English actress. Born in London in 1992, she is the daughter of actor Mark Powley and was educated at Holland Park School. She began acting as a teenager on the CBBC series M.I. High (2007–2008) and later appeared in other television roles including Benidorm (2014).
Powley received critical attention for her performances in the 2015 films A Royal Night Out, as Princess Margaret, and The Diary of a Teenage Girl. Subsequent credits include the films Mary Shelley (2017), White Boy Rick (2018), Carrie Pilby (2017) and The King of Staten Island (2020), and the television series Informer (2018) as Holly Morten, The Morning Show (2019–2021) and Masters of the Air (2024). She has also worked in theatre, including the Broadway revival of Arcadia (2011). She married actor Douglas Booth in 2023.
