Biography
Ben Cottam is a British writer and former comedian. He began his career performing comedy and working in television production at the BBC before moving into writing.
Cottam wrote episodes of the animated series The Amazing World of Gumball (2011). He is best known for creating and writing the BBC Radio 4 sitcom Plum House, which ran for several series and starred Simon Callow and Jane Horrocks. His other work includes episodes of the podcast Wooden Overcoats, the medical drama The Latvian Locum, and various radio adaptations and documentaries for BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4.
