Biography
Benni Korzen (1 April 1938 – 15 February 2026) was a Danish film producer. Born in Copenhagen, he later moved to the United States, where he produced, line-produced or executive produced more than 20 feature films, often in partnership with Just Betzer or New York producers Rankin and Bass.
Korzen is best known for producing Babette's Feast (1987), which won the Academy Award and BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1988. Other credits include The Misfit Brigade (1987), Alone in the Dark (1982) and Mr. Nanny (1993). He was co-owner of Panorama Film International in New York and served as general partner in partnerships that produced films distributed by New Line Cinema.
Korzen was married to actress Annie Korzen.
