Biography
Bente Winther-Larsen is a Norwegian costume designer. She was born in Oslo in 1950. She studied fashion design in London and completed her training at Kunst- og håndverkskolen i Oslo (now part of the Oslo National Academy of the Arts) on the clothing and costume line, with her diploma project in 1978.
She worked as a costume designer on Norwegian films from 1979 to 2010. Her credits include Shipwrecked (1990), Zero Kelvin (1995) and NOKAS (2010). She has also worked as a design teacher and served as principal of Bryn skole in Bærum.
