Biography
Bernadette Le Saché is a French actress. She was born on 1 December 1950 in Paris and trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, graduating in 1973. She also holds a licence in modern literature from the Faculté des lettres de Paris.
She was a pensionnaire at the Comédie-Française from 1977 to 1981. Le Saché is known for her film roles including Simone Lemorne in The Vanishing (1988), Solange in A Perfect Plan (2012), Nicole in By the Grace of God (2019), Hélène de Lambilly in Let Joy Reign Supreme (1975), Monette in Coluche (2008) and Rose in Breath of Life (2018). On television she appeared as Cathie in the series Le Pain noir (1974).
She has also worked extensively in theatre as an actress, director and author. Le Saché was married to Jean-Louis Bauer from 1975 until his death in 2022. She is the granddaughter of Victor Lesaché.
