Biography
Bertha Sånnell was a Swedish costume designer and wardrobe specialist active in film between 1952 and 1968. She worked primarily in costume and wardrobe departments on Swedish productions, including as costume designer on Brink of Life (1958).
She served as dressmaker on Ingmar Bergman's Winter Light (1963) and The Silence (1963), and appeared uncredited as Hanna Appelblad in Winter Light. Other credits as costume designer include Stimulantia (1967), Bamse (1968) and 491 (1964).
Born Bertha Linnéa Sånnell in 1912 in Sundbyberg, she died in 1995 in Solna.
