Biography
Bethany Joy Lenz is an American actress, singer-songwriter and director. She is best known for portraying Haley James Scott in the television series One Tree Hill (2003–2012), in which she also directed three episodes and received a composer credit.
Earlier in her career Lenz appeared as Michelle Bauer Santos in the soap opera Guiding Light (1998–2000) and performed in stage productions including Happy Days: the Musical. She trained as a singer in New York and Los Angeles, has released solo albums, and performed with the duo Everly.
