Biography
Betsy Andreu is a documentary interviewee who has appeared as herself in films about doping in professional cycling. She features in The Armstrong Lie (2013), directed by Alex Gibney, and Stop at Nothing: The Lance Armstrong Story (2014).
She is married to former professional cyclist Frankie Andreu, a teammate of Lance Armstrong. Andreu testified in legal proceedings that she and her husband overheard Armstrong admit to using performance-enhancing drugs during a 1996 hospital visit while receiving cancer treatment. She has spoken publicly about the consequences of her testimony and the culture of omertà in the sport.
