Biography
Betty Schneider is a French actress. She appeared in supporting roles in several French films of the late 1950s and early 1960s, including as Betty, the landlord's daughter, in Jacques Tati's Mon Oncle (1958).
She is also credited as Elisabeth Amsterdamer. Her other film credits include an uncredited role in Love in the Afternoon (1957), The Big Risk (1960) and Paris Belongs to Us (1961), in which she played Anne Goupil. Schneider was born in 1934 in Lens, Pas-de-Calais, France, and attended collège Condorcet there; she had an interest in theatre from that time. Her screen career was brief, extending to 1962.
