Biography
Bhuvan Gowda is an Indian cinematographer who works primarily in Kannada cinema. He began his career as a still photographer on Prashanth Neel's debut film Ugramm (2014) and took over as director of photography when the original cinematographer left the project.
Gowda has collaborated repeatedly with Neel, serving as cinematographer on K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018) and K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022). He also shot Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023), his Telugu debut, for which he received the SIIMA Award for Best Cinematographer – Telugu. He won the SIIMA Award for Best Cinematographer for K.G.F: Chapter 1.
