Biography
Bill Callahan is an American television writer and producer. He began his career in the late 1990s as a writer and story editor on the sitcom Spin City.
He has written episodes of Scrubs (2001), Psych (2006), 8 Simple Rules (2002), The Goldbergs (2013), Lethal Weapon (2016), American Housewife (2016) and Trial & Error (2017). He also served as a producer on several of these series. Callahan wrote an episode of the sports comedy Stick (2025) and acted as executive producer on the series.
He is the first cousin of actor John C. McGinley and has been married to Sarah Mira Frank-Meltzer since 2008. He has received Emmy nominations for his work in television.
