Biography
Bob Charlton is a Jamaican actor. He is best known for playing the music producer Hilton in the 1972 film The Harder They Come. He also appeared in Nymph (1973) as Pat Armistead and Detroit 9000 (1973).
Charlton was from St Catherine and attended Beckford and Smith High School (now St Jago High). He had a long career in the Jamaican insurance industry, founding the Caribbean Health insurance company. He never acted again after The Harder They Come and later moved to Toronto, Canada, where he died.
