Biography
Bojana Marijan was a Yugoslav and Serbian film professional who worked as an assistant director, producer and music contributor, primarily in collaboration with her husband, director Dušan Makavejev.
She contributed music to W.R.: Mysteries of the Organism (1971) and served as assistant director on several of Makavejev’s films, including Sweet Movie (1974) and The Coca-Cola Kid (1985). As a producer she worked on Manifesto (1988) and Gorilla Bathes at Noon (1993), among other projects.
Marijan was married to Makavejev from 1964 until his death in 2019. She died on 29 December 2021 in Belgrade, Serbia.
