Biography
Bonnie Elliott is an Australian cinematographer. She graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in 1988 and later obtained a Master of Arts in cinematography from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
She began her career as a clapper loader and focus puller before shooting her first feature, My Tehran for Sale (2009). Elliott is known for her work on These Final Hours (2014), Spear (2015), Seven Types of Ambiguity (2017), Stateless (2020), Shining Girls (2022), Run Rabbit Run (2023), The Veil (2024) and the series Last Seen (2026). She was the first woman to win an AACTA Award for Best Cinematography in Television, for Seven Types of Ambiguity, and has received further AACTA wins and nominations for Stateless, Fires and other projects. Her partner is film editor Nick Meyers.
