Biography
Boris Bilinsky (1900–1948) was a Russian-born costume designer, production designer and graphic artist. He left Russia after the 1917 Revolution, worked in Berlin and moved to Paris in 1923, where he designed for the Albatros company and later for Russian ballet troupes including those of Bronislava Nijinska.
His film credits in France include Le lion des Mogols (1924), Monte Cristo (1929) and Daybreak (1939). He also created posters and designs for opera and ballet productions in Paris and London.
In 1939 Bilinsky settled in Italy with his family and worked on numerous films, mainly for Titanus, until his death in Catania.
