Biography
Boris Chebotaryov (1907–1995) was a Soviet production designer. Born in Barnaul in the Russian Empire (now Altai Krai, Russia), he graduated from the painting department of the AHRR school in 1930 and began working in cinema in 1933. He joined Mosfilm as a production designer in 1944.
His credits include Six P.M. (1944), Opasnye tropy (1955), Chelovek rodilsya (1956), The Red and the White (1967, as interior designer) and Korol manezha (1970). He was named Honoured Cultural Worker of the RSFSR in 1974 and later worked on the satirical newsreel Fitil.
