Biography
Borys Lewin (1914–1992) was a Russian-born French film editor. Born in Minsk in what was then the Russian Empire, he worked in the French film industry from the late 1930s until the late 1970s.
Lewin edited around fifty films and television productions. His credits include Max Ophüls's The Earrings of Madame de... (1953), French Cancan (1955) and Elena and Her Men (1956) directed by Jean Renoir, and To Die of Love (1971). He also directed one feature, The Hunted (1950).
