Biography
Brandon Margolis is an American television writer and producer. Born on 8 October 1980 in New York City, he worked as an assistant on series including The Office and Parks and Recreation after moving to Los Angeles. He met longtime writing partner Brandon Sonnier through mutual contacts and the pair completed NBC's Writers on the Verge programme.
They joined the writing staff of The Blacklist as staff writers for its first season in 2013. Margolis received story and teleplay credits on the series and rose to producer and supervising producer. The duo, often referred to as "The Brandons", co-created and served as showrunners on L.A.'s Finest (2019).
Their other credits include writing for S.W.A.T. (2017), Alert: Missing Persons Unit (2023) and Accused (2023), and creating Boston Blue (2025).
