Biography
Brandon T. Jackson (born Brandon Timothy Jackson) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He was born on 7 March 1984 in Detroit, Michigan, and attended West Bloomfield High School before moving to Los Angeles to pursue comedy.
Jackson began performing stand-up at venues including the Laugh Factory and opened for comedians such as Wayne Brady and Chris Tucker. His early film roles include an uncredited appearance in 8 Mile (2002) and a supporting part in Roll Bounce (2005). He is known for his performances as Alpa Chino in Tropic Thunder (2008), Grover Underwood in the Percy Jackson films (2010 and 2013), and Trent Pierce in Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (2011). He also played Target Tech in The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) and appeared as Roofie Jackson in the television series Deadbeat (2014–2016).
