Biography
Brien Varady is an American actor. A native of Los Angeles, he began his career in the 1970s with television commercials and a role in the mini-series Captains and the Kings (1976). He studied acting with Kim Stanley and was mentored by Michael Lerner. He was a founding member of Young Artists United.
Varady is known for his role as Chris in John Dahl's The Last Seduction (1994). He later worked again with Dahl in an uncredited role in Joy Ride (2001). Other credits include Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993), Breathless (1983), Stir Crazy (1980) and Lamb to the Slaughter (2002). He also produced and appeared in Naked in the Cold Sun (1997). In 1983 he won Best Actor at the West Coast One-Act Festival for "After Life".
