Biography
Brittany Kaiser is an American data privacy advocate and former business development director at Cambridge Analytica. She appears as herself in the 2019 Netflix documentary The Great Hack, which examines the company's role in the Facebook–Cambridge Analytica data scandal and its work on political campaigns including the 2016 US presidential election and the UK Brexit referendum.
Kaiser was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Chicago. She studied at Phillips Academy Andover and the University of Edinburgh, among other institutions. She worked at Cambridge Analytica from 2015 until January 2018, after which she became a whistleblower, testifying before a UK parliamentary committee and providing evidence to the Mueller investigation. She has since advocated for data transparency and authored the book Targeted.
