Biography
Bruce Davis is an American actor born on 13 February 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the US Navy and served from 1983 to 1987 aboard the USS Enterprise. After an honourable discharge he joined the Oklahoma City Police Department, where he served for 27 years and reached the rank of lieutenant. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and trained in film acting and the Meisner Technique at the Actors Factory in Norman, Oklahoma.
Davis began his performing career in musical theatre in 2004. On screen he is credited as the voice of Billy in The Vast of Night (2019) and as Sunderland in The Rivals of Amziah King (2026). Other credits include All Eyez on Me (2017), Rattlesnake (2019), What Josiah Saw (2021) and an episode of Law & Order (2024).
