Biography
Bryony Marks is an Australian composer of film and television scores and theatre music. She completed a postgraduate diploma in music composition for film and television at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne, with first-class honours, and attended the inaugural composers' programme at the Australian National Academy of Music in 2001.
Her credits include the television series Please Like Me (2013), Summer Heights High (2007), Dance Academy (2010) and Lambs of God (2019), and the films Noise (2007), Felony (2014) and Berlin Syndrome (2017). She composed the music for the British series Mrs Biggs (2012). Marks has frequently worked with director Matthew Saville, her husband, on projects including Noise and Felony.
She has received several awards, including FCCA Awards for best original score for Berlin Syndrome and Noise, and an APRA AGSC Screen Music Award for Barracuda.
