Biography
Caleb Ranson is a British television writer and producer. Born in 1969 in Bristol, he has created and written numerous drama series and films, primarily for British broadcasters.
His credits include creating Distant Shores (2005–2008), Night & Day (2001–2003), Daylight Robbery (1999–2000) and co-creating Around the World in 80 Days (2021). He wrote a screenplay for Midsomer Murders (2016) and other works such as Diamond Geezer (2005–2007) and First Light (2010).
Before his writing career, Ranson worked in various roles including as a roadie and theatre usher. He has contributed to international productions and received an RTS Regional Award nomination for Diamond Geezer.
