Biography
Cameron Welsh is an Australian writer, producer and director. He began his career as an actor, playing Mitch McColl in the soap opera Home and Away from 1999 to 2005, and later served as series producer on the show from 2007 to 2012. He also directed episodes of Home and Away and other Australian series including All Saints and Blue Heelers.
After leaving Home and Away, Welsh worked in American television as a writer and producer. His credits include writing episodes of The Last Ship (2014), Constantine (2014–2015), Ash vs Evil Dead (2016) and Krypton (2018–2019), where he also served as showrunner and executive producer. He has produced further series such as Foundation (2021) and Nautilus (2024).
