Biography
Camilla Deakin is a British producer. She began her career producing and directing documentaries and arts programmes before joining Channel 4 in 1999, where she became Editor, Arts & Animation. In 2002 she co-founded Lupus Films with Ruth Fielding.
Through Lupus Films, Deakin has produced a number of animated films and television specials for children and families, including The Snowman and the Snowdog (2012), Ethel & Ernest (2016) and Kensuke's Kingdom (2023). She has also produced A Christmas Number One (2021) and other projects such as The Tiger Who Came to Tea (2019). Deakin is a voting member of BAFTA and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
