Biography
Candice Patton is an American actress. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, she was raised in Plano, Texas, and graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a BFA in Theatre.
She began her career after winning a CBS Soap Star Contest, which led to appearances on the soap opera The Young and the Restless. Patton is best known for her role as Iris West-Allen in the series The Flash (2014–2023). She has also appeared in other Arrowverse productions including Arrow, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman. Additional credits include a recurring role in The Game (2013–2014) and a guest appearance as Veronica in About a Boy (2014).
