Biography
Carl Prekopp is a British actor born in Sheffield in 1979. He trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2001, when he also won the BBC Carleton Hobbs Award and joined the BBC Radio Drama Repertory Company.
He is known for his role as Homeless Pat in the film Saint Maud (2019). Other screen credits include I Want Candy (2007) as Vlad, Call the Midwife (2012) as Bill Williams, Lewis (2007) as Derek and No Offence (2015) as Jerry Kornick. He has an extensive career in radio drama, including BBC Radio 4 adaptations of Terry Pratchett novels, and has directed audio productions, winning a New York Festivals Gold Award for Best Director for a 2019 production of Macbeth.
