Biography
Carl W. Lucas is a screenwriter, producer and director. He completed his first screenplay in 2002 and was a top 100 finalist in the HBO series Project Greenlight with his second. In 2009 he founded EchoWolf Productions and produced his first feature, Don't Blink (2014).
Lucas has written and produced several independent films. His credits include writing and producing The Wave (2019) and writing and executive producing The Old Way (2023). He also produced Fender Bender (2016), My Name Is Myeisha (2018) and The Rambler (2013), the last of which screened in the Midnight section at Sundance.
