Biography
Carmela Sazio is an Italian actress. She played the title role of Carmela in Roberto Rossellini's Paisan (1946), appearing as a local girl who guides an American patrol in the first episode of the film. She was an amateur cast in the neorealist production and her dialogue was dubbed due to her accent.
