Biography
Carmen Cabana is a cinematographer. She is of Afro-Hispanic descent and was raised in Colombia and Venezuela. She is based in Los Angeles and has worked on both television series and independent feature films.
Her television credits include the Hulu series High Fidelity (2020), the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel (2022), the Netflix series Resident Evil (2022) and Narcos season 2 (2016), and the Starz series VIDA (seasons 1 and 2). Her film work includes Nocturne (2020). She has also directed short films.
Cabana is a Film Independent Project Involve Fellow (2010) and a Sundance Director's Lab crew participant (2008). She is a member of the Friends of the ASC. Her work has been featured in publications including Variety, American Cinematographer and ICG Magazine. She has received one win and one nomination for cinematography.
