Biography
Carol Marsh (born Norma Lilian Simpson) was an English actress. She was born on 10 May 1926 in Southgate, London, and died on 6 March 2010 in London.
She won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music and trained at the Rank Organisation's charm school before joining its repertory company at Worthing. Marsh made her screen debut as Rose in Brighton Rock (1948), selected from more than 3,000 applicants. Her other notable film roles include Alice in Alice in Wonderland (1949), Fan Scrooge in Scrooge (1951) and Lucy Holmwood in Dracula (1958). She also worked extensively in BBC radio plays and on television.
