Biography
Carole Raphaelle Davis is an English-American actress, model, singer and writer. Born on 17 February 1958 in London, she grew up in several countries before moving to New York City as a teenager. She studied Chinese studies and political science at the City University of New York and trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute.
Davis began her career in modelling, appearing in Playboy in 1978 and as Penthouse Pet of the Month in 1980 under the name Tamara Kapitas. Her first film role was in Piranha II: The Spawning (1982). She is known for her performance as Roxie Shield in Mannequin (1987) and for guest appearances in television series including The A-Team (1983), Star Trek: Voyager (1995), Sex and the City (1998), Angel (1999) and 2 Broke Girls (2011). She also released the album Heart of Gold in 1989.
