Biography
Caroline Kepnes is an American writer and screenwriter. Born on 10 November 1976 in Centerville, Massachusetts, she graduated from Brown University.
She previously worked as an entertainment reporter for publications including Entertainment Weekly. Her television writing credits include staff writer roles on 7th Heaven (2006–2007) and The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2009). She is the author of the thriller novel series beginning with You (2014), which was adapted into the television series You (2018–2025), on which she also worked as a writer.
